Traffic accident with personal injury

(jd) A traffic accident occurred at the junction of Neuenkirchener Straße and Ohsener Straße at around 3.30 p.m. on Friday (31.1.). A 22-year-old man from Spenger was driving his Renault on Ohsener Straße coming from Werkstraße and intended to turn left at the junction with Neuenkirchener Straße. As he entered the junction, he collided with a 55-year-old Kia driver from Spenge who had the right of way and was driving in the direction of Helliger Weg on Neuenkirchener Straße. The Renault then spun on its own axis and was thrown into a BMW driven by a 75-year-old man in the direction of Wallenbrück. The 55-year-old lost control of her vehicle due to the force of the impact and skidded onto an adjacent lawn, coming to a halt against a garden lamppost. All three drivers sustained minor injuries in the accident. The fire department was called to the scene to clean up the spillage. Property damage in the five-digit range was caused.
