Heinsberg-Eschweiler - Between 10 a.m. on Monday morning (March 31) and 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning (April 1), unknown perpetrators removed several electronic grave candles from graves in the Eschweiler cemetery and destroyed them in an adjacent meadow, where they were found by a witness.
The investigating criminal investigation department is now looking not only for witnesses who can provide relevant information about the perpetrators, but also for injured parties, as the grave candles found on site could not be clearly identified.
