Geilenkirchen - On November 20 (Wednesday), the municipal public order service of the city of Geilenkirchen discovered that waste bins, signage, seating blocks, barrier blocks, the toilet facility, electrical connection boxes and parts of the underpass of the Theodor-Heuss-Ring in Geilenkirchen in the area of the Wurmauenpark and the city parking lot on Beamtenweg had been smeared by unknown perpetrators. The exact time of the crime is not known.
The town of Geilenkirchen has now decided to offer a reward totaling 1,000 euros for information that leads to the crime being solved.
According to the town of Geilenkirchen, the reward will be awarded and distributed without recourse to the courts. If several people come forward with tips, a decision will be made based on the number of tips received and their value. In all other respects, the provisions of the BGB apply. Persons involved in the crime are excluded from the award. All information received by January 31, 2025 that leads to the capture/conviction of the perpetrator(s) will be considered.
